How long should I walk my dog?
I have a Male Dalmatian and he’s inside all day. I take him outside threw out the day but those are quick pee and poo breaks. In the evening I take him for a good long walk but I was wonder how much time would be good enough to exercise him really good.
Sometimes he wears a dog pack with 2 pounds in it for weight training.

How Can I Introduce My Kitten to My Adult Dog?
My dog is very well behaved, and is 8 years old. The only problem is, that she likes some cats but doesn’t like others. She Will listen to me if i command her to come or sit, but I’m nervous about those first few interactions between the two. Please give me some tips, and help.
Also, she is a Border Collie Dalmatian Cross. She has the brains and personality of a Border collie, but can be very aggressive sometimes.

What is a good medium dog type for me?
I am going to be living in an apartment after college and I want to know what are some good dog breads that don’t need alot of play time outside but I would still take the dog out on walks maybe 3 or 4 times a week. Also I want a dog that looks kinda like a lab or a Dalmatian, but less active.

Mom wants to know all she needs to know about dalmatian dogs?
Okay so mom FINALLY agreed to get me this dog. Its a dalmatian, and it’s medium sized, the breeder said it’s not going to grow any more so I guess it’s a miniature dalmatian even though I heard those don’t exist. So I want to do my research but wikipedia wasn’t any help and now I’m stumped. I figured, my friends here at Yahoo Answers would be cool enough to help out (: Haha, come on, what are the things that my mom should know about dalmatians generally; are they good with hot weather? How much do they eat? Are they good with kids? Family animals, or not? I heard this dog’s personality was pretty quiet though, and takes a while to get used to a person before it can start playing and mom would like that. Don’t ask if I’m ready or not btw :p I am ready, and I’m not an idiot, I’m pretty responsible. I just need to provide my mom with the right information and show her I’m devoted. I’m going to keep researching, but I need your help more so you guys help out (: THANKS!
Okay WOAH. Is this true??: “The only thing I know about dalmatians is that they are not good family dogs. They are more prone to biting a child than a pittbull would. I’m not saying a pittbull is a bad dog by any means, I am just using it as a reference because that is the dog that is usually labeled as a biter. I would get a pitbull for my family before I got a dalmatian and I’m actually not a big pitbull fan.”

My dalmatian dog has a terrible rash on his tummy and legs…I am very concerned and I am wondering what I should do…the vet option is out becuz my vet charges way too much just for an emergency visit..what should I do?
Why do poodles win their group at dog shows so much?
Of all the dog shows I’ve seen on television, I think a dalmatian won the nonsporting group once and all of the other times it was won by a poodle. That doesn’t count the several times that I’ve seen them win the toy group too.
P.S. if you didn’t watch the Westminster show last night, the nonsporting group was won by — a poodle.
